LUCÍA & IGNACIO Wedding at La Mola, Menorca Photography: Latelier MenorcaBride getting ready hotel: Hotel Casa MirandaWedding planner: Brichs EventsCatering: SalgarVenue: Fortaleza La Mola, Maó When Lucía and Ignacio decided to celebrate their wedding in Menorca, they knew exactly where they wanted it: the historic and impressive Fortress of La Mola, a place that holds the essence of the island and offers breathtaking views of the Mediterranean. The day began at the Hotel Miranda, located in the heart of Maó, where Lucía got ready, surrounded by laughter and nerves that reflected her joyful personality. She couldn’t stop moving, laughing, and sharing moments with her friends, a pure reflection of her vibrant energy. Meanwhile, Ignacio, the calmness in contrast, awaited her at the Iglesia del Carmen in Maó, where they said “I do” in an emotional religious ceremony, accompanied by their closest friends and family. After the ceremony, the couple left in a vintage bottle-green 600, adding a touch of nostalgia and elegance to the celebration. Upon arriving at La Mola, the guests enjoyed a relaxed cocktail at the Mirador, with the sunset setting behind the Port of Maó. The dinner took place in the Hornabeque, a stunning open-air courtyard adorned with string lights that created a magical atmosphere. After dinner, the celebration moved to the stone arches of La Mola, where friends and family danced and laughed until the early hours, turning the fortress into the best party venue on the island. The entire event was masterfully organized by Brichs Events, who made sure every detail reflected the couple’s vibrant spirit and deep love for Menorca.

The venue was the beautiful Sant Joan de Binissaida, a place that truly reflects the essence of the island with its lush gardens and traditional architecture. The event was flawlessly organized by Anna Britton and her team at Menorca Wedding, specialists in creating unique weddings in Menorca’s most magical locations. The day began with preparations at the hotel, surrounded by their closest friends and family. One of the most emotional moments was the first look at Cala San Esteban, a hidden gem on the Menorcan coast, where Rosie and Ben saw each other for the first time before the ceremony. Accompanied by their parents and witnesses, they shared a champagne toast, capturing the essence of an intimate and authentic wedding. The civil ceremony took place on the lush green lawn of the hotel, with the blue October sky as a perfect backdrop. Rosie’s contagious energy and Ben’s emotion filled the air, shared by guests who had traveled from different parts of the world to be with them. The cocktail hour was held in the gardens, with friends and family celebrating with the couple amidst the stunning natural beauty of Sant Joan de Binissaida. The dinner took place in the hotel’s covered area, decorated in a rustic and elegant style. Emotional speeches brought tears and laughter in equal measure. One of the most powerful moments of the wedding was the Maori Haka, performed by Rosie and Ben’s friends during the celebration. The intensity and emotion of this New Zealand tradition left a lasting impression on everyone, making this destination wedding in Menorca even more special. Sant Joan de Binissaida proved to be the perfect place for this wedding, combining the natural beauty of its gardens with the traditional style of its buildings. Undoubtedly, a unique place for a destination wedding in Menorca that reflects the true essence of the island.

Clementine & Benjamin

CLEMENTINE & BENJAMIN Wedding at Menorca Experimental Photography: Latelier MenorcaWedding venue: Menorca ExperimentalWedding planner: Brichs EventsBride dress: Laure de Sagazan When Clementine and Benjamin decided to get married in Menorca, they knew they wanted something different—an atmosphere that would capture their artistic style and love for simple yet elegant details. Choosing Hotel Menorca Experimental was the perfect match for their vision: a venue with impeccable architecture, surrounded by nature, and infused with a bohemian spirit that could be felt in every corner. The day began in a relaxed way, with Clementine getting ready in one of the hotel rooms. No unnecessary frills, just loose hair, natural makeup, and her stunning beauty shining through. She opted for a two-piece set by Laure de Sagazan, a combination of trousers and a top that gave her a relaxed yet elegant look. Benjamin, on the other hand, chose a light-colored suit, perfect for the Menorcan setting and climate. Unlike many weddings, they decided to skip the traditional ceremony. Instead, they shared a champagne toast—personally selected by Benjamin, who works in the wine industry—with their closest friends during a long aperitif filled with laughter and reunions. The relaxed and unhurried atmosphere extended throughout the entire celebration, marked by good taste and genuine connection. The dinner was held outdoors, beneath a sky decorated with string lights and wooden tables arranged in front of the stunning facade of the hotel. Throughout the evening, heartfelt speeches from friends and family filled the air with emotion and joy. Between toasts and spontaneous dancing, Clementine and Benjamin showed that a wedding can be a true reflection of their personality: authentic, artistic, and full of life. A destination wedding at Menorca Experimental like no other, where celebration and art came together to create a magical and unforgettable atmosphere, thanks to the flawless organization of Brichs Events and the unique charm of the hotel.

A work move from Barcelona to New York accelerated the process of organizing their wedding, and thanks to the wedding planners of Essence Menorca and the rest of the wedding vendors, they managed to celebrate the day they wanted surrounded by nature. Everything happened at one of my favorite wedding venues in Menorca: Santa Teresa, located on the north coast and near the Cavalleria lighthouse. They both got ready there, and once ready, they did a first look, one of my favorite moments as a wedding photographer in Menorca. A first look is the moment when the couple sees each other for the first time before the ceremony, this moment is usually done alone – in addition to the photographer and videographer to capture the reaction-. Some couples decide to do it because it allows them to have a private moment before the ceremony, reduces the stress and anxiety of the big day, and also gives them the opportunity to take pictures together before the official ceremony begins. After this moment, Vero and Borja walked together towards their civil ceremony with views of the lighthouse and the sea in the background. To make the most of the guests and the sunset light, we decided to do two mini couple sessions instead of a long photoshoot, the first was just after the ceremony and the second when the golden light was flooding the venue completely. The guests didn’t stop dancing during the cocktail hour or dinner, which was a buffet with Catering Salgar. Without even finishing dessert, the guests got up again to sing and dance with the newlyweds to Lara Pons’ songs.

Anna & Victor

ANNA & VÍCTOR wedding at monte toro, menorca Venue: La Mola fortress, MenorcaWedding planner: Anna MirChurch: Monte Toro sanctuaryCatering: Ses ForquillesHair stylist: Princep StilFlowers: Es BonsaisMusic: Lara PonsBride dress: Pronovias   As a wedding photographer in Menorca, I would describe Anna and Victor’s wedding as an unforgettable day full of fun and elegance. As their wedding photographer in Menorca, I had the honour to capture the religious ceremony that took place at the Monte Toro sanctuary in Es Mercadal. Afterwards, guests were transported by bus to the stunning fortress of  La Mola in Mahón, where the rest of the wedding was held. Anna and Victor wanted to personally welcome their loved ones, so we had a brief photo session under the white arches of La Mola before heading to the banquet location. The sunset over the port of Maó was simply breathtaking, and because the golden light is my favourite as a wedding photographer, we took the opportunity to capture group photos and some images of the couple that reflected the beauty of the moment. At the end of the cocktail hour, guests enjoyed a performance by Menorcan horses, which unleashed joy and led some of them to join the jaleo menorquín. The banquet location was decorated by the wedding planner Anna Mir and the florists from Es Bonsais, who managed to create a cozy and warm atmosphere that reflected the unique personality of the couple. All in all, Anna and Victor’s wedding was a celebration of love and happiness that will remain in the memories of all who had the pleasure of experiencing it.

From the very beginning, a unique and special atmosphere was felt, where happiness and love were present in every corner. Organized by Menorca Events, this destination wedding brought together friends and family from different continents to share an unforgettable experience. The house where the guests stayed in Es Canutells offered stunning views of the Mediterranean, and the pre-wedding and post-wedding parties made the celebration last for several days. Andy and Dylan’s civil ceremony took place in the spectacular fortress of La Mola, where Andy arrived in a mehari wearing an incredible dress by Vivienne Westwood. Despite the wind, the emotion and love were felt in the air, and many guests wanted to dedicate a few words to the couple, some even sang and played the piano. It was a celebration in every sense of the word, with friendship, love, and fun as the protagonists. Undoubtedly, as a wedding photographer based in Menorca, this wedding will remain in my memory forever.

With half of the guests hailing from France and the other half from Nigeria, they shared one of the most emotional church ceremonies I have ever witnessed as a wedding photographer in Menorca. The power of singing, dancing, and playing music brought everyone together and filled the air with happiness. What better way to celebrate the union of two souls? Both the bride and groom got ready for their big day in separate rooms at Sant Joan de Binissaida hotel, where they returned after the ceremony to continue the festivities. During the cocktail hour, Gigi Mcfarlane graced them with her amazing voice, while the talented wedding planner Anna Mir ensured every detail was perfect. The venue and the food by Ses Forquilles was breathtakingly beautiful and made for a stunning reception. As the sun began to set, the party started, and guests of all ages danced the night away while the sun filtered through the trees of the hotel. It was a magical evening, filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

The greenery of nature and the creativity of Ferran Florista came together to create a unique atmosphere that added to the romance of the moment. Even on a cloudy day, the beauty of Menorca was the protagonist of this British couple’s Anglican ceremony. Louise’s wedding dress from designer Riki Dalal complemented her natural beauty as she walked down the aisle.   After the ceremony, guests made their way to the vineyard forest to celebrate the cocktail hour while we captured stunning newlywed photos among the vines. The dinner was accompanied by emotional speeches that filled the air with laughter, tears, and a deep sense of love. The father of the bride and the groom’s brother gave especially humorous and touching speeches, making everyone laugh with their stories and anecdotes.   After dinner, the party continued in the winery, surrounded by hundreds of bottles of Menorca wine, turning the wedding into a unique celebration that the couple and their guests will never forget. As a Menorca-based wedding photographer, I’m passionate about capturing these beautiful moments for couples like Lou and Robbie.
