For Ngoc & Matt, getting married in Menorca was by chance. Living in San Francisco, they knew they wanted a destination wedding, to be able to be somewhere paradisiac, so they took a globe and, after making it spin, their finger ended up in Spain. Haven’t you dreamt about doing that to choose your next holidays?
Matt is a chef, and for him it was very important to try the local cuisine with quality products, and that’s how they ended up choosing Menorca to enjoy one of the most important days of his life.
Neither of them had been to Menorca before the wedding, and during their days on the island they kept saying they were surprised about the beauty and diversity of such a small island.
Two days before the wedding, we made a small pre-wedding session to know each other and to choose the best place for their first look .
The first look is when a wedding couple sees each other before the ceremony, it’s a very special moment in which you see yourself dressed before anyone else, a few minutes alone – apart of the photographer, of course;) – without all the guests looking at you. It usually becomes one of the most intimate moments of the day.
Binidalí’ cliff, also known as “the end of the world” and the bar Som Sis were the spots chosen for those emotional moments prior to the ceremony.
The wedding venue was the hotel Sant Joan de Binissaida and Ses Forquilles took care of the catering. The amazing bouquet and the floral decoration filled with proteas was created by Es Bonsais , they always nail it.
