According to what Miquel and Tolo told me, they wanted to do an engagement session because they were very shy in front of the camera, and they didn’t want to be on the wedding day. They said that it would be very difficult for them to act naturally knowing that someone was taking pictures of them. I told them that it’s part of my job to make them feel at ease, and when I met them, the usual thing happened, they felt a little shy at the beginning, but after ten minutes they relaxed, they realized that an engagement session is the perfect excuse to spend time with your loved one, to remember why you want to marry that person, and that the camera doesn’t matter, the important thing is to enjoy and let go.
We were having such a horrible time that we almost run out of light without realizing it, and we decided to go to Paput, at Maó’ harbour, to close the day with some beers. Being model and photographer is a hard job…
