Kate wanted a different souvenir of her vacation in Menorca. She wanted to immortalize those days on the other side of the world – they came from Canada – with their little one and Monte, her husband.
They didn’t care about the shooting location, they just wanted to have a fun afternoon and a good memory, so I suggested taking the photos in Ciutadella’s old town, full of alleys and colorful walls. Even though the beaches are the best known of the island, I really enjoy this type of sessions, the villages give plentiful options when it comes to composing, with different corners and many things to do, it makes the session more fun for the kids, besides being easier to avoid the heat.
We profited the session to go on a small tour, so that they would know my version of the town. We wandered, we went to the market, to my beloved yellow wall, I recommended places to eat and we stopped by their airbnb for a minute so Isaiah could eat something before finishing at the harbour for the last photos.
