For Paz and Paco, the party was the important part of their wedding, to enjoy it with their friends and relatives and have a great time. That’s why they chose their family farm as their wedding venue. If it’s your house, there’s no closing time, is it?
The day started in Paz childhood home, the house with the best views of Es Canutells’ beach and Paz’s father explaining me the pleasure of drinking the first coffee in the morning with the feeling of the turquoise blue of the Mediterranean Sea surrounding you… I felt happy by being able to share a coffee with him before starting taking photos.
Beautiful views continued through the day, the ceremony was held in the sanctuary of Monte Toro, the highest point of Menorca and from where, on clear days, you can see most of the island. Being a paratrooper of the Spanish Legion, the groom Paco and a good part of the guests wore the legionary dress uniform, and when they left the church they made a hall of sabers that ended with kisses and hugs towards the couple. This is one of my favorite moments of the wedding.
We stopped the classic car on the way to the venue for some couple photos, and upon arrival, two Paz’ friends received them singing while the sunset light flooded everything. S’Algar Catering were in charge to decorate the farm and serve a buffet dinner, which ended with one of the funniest moments of the wedding: the legionary toast. All the guests reciting and shouting in unison a poem that closes with a shot of “panther’s milk”.
